Most people can get complete relief from anxiety, for example, in a relatively short amount of time depending on how the problem got started. Hypnosis is used with counseling to accelerate positive results.

​Hypnosis has been used for thousands of years for treatment and healing of various problems. Although it has been called by many other names, many practices were evoking what we now understand as hypnosis. Elaborate rituals induce the deep concentration of mind that we now recognize as a hallmark of hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural ability almost everyone has. Hypnotherapy uses this state to deliver a suggestion to bring relief for simple problems. Northwoods hypnosis and counseling takes this further into a healing modality designed to target and resolve the root cause of more serious problems eliminating the need for the symptom.
